Test Description
The Pendulum release height and weight determines the Impact Energy. The final swing height position of the Pendulum after breaking a Test Sample is subtracted from the release height and this equates to the energy loss to break the Test Sample. Adjustments are made for the parasitic lossess, such as friction and windage, which are found during the Calibration carried out before each test.
