Pressure safety device: prevents the opening of the lid while the chamber is under pressure. Safety over pressure valve: Prevents the pressure surpassing the set maximum limit. Over pressure cut out. Disconnects the heater element in the event of surpassing the set maximum pressure limit. Safety Thermostat. Disconnects power to the heater element in the event of over temperature or lack of water in the tank. Safety door closed indicator: Detects and indicates if the lid is in the correct close position. Thermal protection: The lid has an insulated thermal protective cover.
　

Features

AISI 304 stainless steel exterior and top. (model Autester E). Protected epoxy coated steel exterior casing. (model Autester ST). INCOLOY stainless steel heater element, provides: long life, corrosion and high temperature resistant.  AISI 316.stainless steel reservoir water tank, lid and lock. Automatic vacuum, purge and dry cycle. Automatic evacuation of the air in the chamber at the beginning of the sterilisation cycle. Distilled water reservoir tank to feed the boiler. External vacuum filter. To obtain the best sterilisation results the chamber needs to be completely saturated with steam vapour.  To guarantee this condition it is necessary that there are no air pockets that may contain trapped air in the chamber. It is recommended if any of the following material is to be sterilised porous materials, fabrics, gauzes, filters, etc., that a system with a prevacuum and dry options be purchased. All this autoclaves are equipped with this sistem and automatically purge the air from the chamber before sterilisation.
　

Microprocessor Functions

The microprocessor controls the running of the sterilization and drying process using the following pre-selected parameters set by the operator:
* Sterilization temperature from 105 °C to 134 °C (at 0,2 to 0,2 bar). Exception, the autoclave Autester ST DRY-PV-25, sterilization temperature up to 138 °C ( at 2.5 bar).
* Sterilization time from 1minute to 99 minutes.
* Drying time from 1 to 60 minutes.
* Three modes of operation:
- Liquids.
- Solids.
- Solids plus drying.
* The microprocessor monitors and verifies at all times the following parameters:
- Lid / door is in the correct close position.
- Monitors that the temperature probe is functioning.
- That the temperature and the purge time do not exceed their set limits.
- That the sterilization temperature does not vary more than two degrees from the set temperature.
Any failure of these parameters is shown as a visible warning on the control panel, sets off an acoustic warning alarm and automatically disconnects the heater element.

To guarantee in all circumstances that the system has completed the cycle to the set time and temperature parameters, the Autester E DRY-PV autoclaves can be installed with a temperature probe that can be placed within the culture flask, residual packets etc.
In this way proof that the programmed time and temperature for the run have been achieved.
When the probe is connected to the controller of the autoclave, it is automatically recognized by the microprocessor, whereby the real time and temperature values detected by the probe are displayed and printed.

Purge system eliminates air pockets for uniform penetration of superheated steam. Just load, set required temperature time, and units function without further attention. Model 8000D meets EPA criteria and has both slow and rapid cool down cycles. Both models feature timed drying cycle, overpressure release, temperature/low water cutoffs and stainless steel chamber, tray and body. Front mounted controls and gauges.
